How we handle your personal data.

We collect as little data as possible and only use it for the purposes described below.

Website

When you submit a pre-order or sign-up form, we collect your email address and which product you are interested in. We also store basic request metadata such as your IP address and country for fraud prevention. We use your email to contact you about your order or the product you signed up for. We do not send marketing emails or share your data with third parties for promotional purposes.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver content and protect against abuse. We use Google Workspace for email, which means order notifications and correspondence containing your name or email address are processed by Google.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details. Stripe collects and processes your payment data in accordance with their privacy policy.

Lydbro products

Lydbro devices periodically connect to our servers to check for firmware updates and report basic device health information. This may include device identifiers, network information, firmware version, and diagnostic metrics. If you provide an email address in the device configuration, it is transmitted to us for the purpose of associating the device with your account. We use this data to deliver firmware updates and monitor product reliability. No usage data about how you interact with connected audio or video equipment is collected by us.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data at any time
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
